This page explains how RegEvidenceHub organizes evidence. It is supplementary information, not a source of regulatory requirements or an official decision.
For regulatory workflows, a current council, GOV.UK, regulator, or other relevant public authority source remains the primary reference. RegEvidenceHub links requirements to the source material used for the reviewed rule and tracks source status separately from the result produced for supplied facts.
Source status
Tracks whether reviewed evidence is usable, changed, unavailable, conflicting, or pending review.
Decision status
Indicates whether the available evidence and supplied facts support the requested preflight result.
Fail-closed behavior
Withholds affected conclusions or marks them for review when evidence cannot safely support them.
When information is missing
Share the facts you know and label the rest as unknown. Do not fill gaps with guesses. A useful preflight identifies decision-relevant missing facts, asks only for what is needed, and keeps the result incomplete until those facts are available.
1. Identify the gap
Separate required facts from optional context and explain why a required fact matters.
2. Ask only what is needed
Request the smallest set of facts that could change the next step and avoid unnecessary sensitive data.
3. Bound the result
Keep the status incomplete or for review until required evidence is supplied; do not imply unknown facts were verified.
Industrial QA evidence
Industrial QA tools compare files and expectations supplied by the user—such as CSV exports, expected cable inventories, test limits, or OPC UA NodeSet XML—against documented structural checks. Results describe those checks and the supplied evidence. They do not establish manufacturer approval, standards certification, runtime commissioning, or product safety.
What RegEvidenceHub does not claim
RegEvidenceHub is an independent, privately operated service. It is not a regulator, council, government department, manufacturer, or standards body, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations. It does not issue official decisions or approvals. For regulatory requirements, use the cited authority’s own page as the primary source.
Public availability of a source does not mean RegEvidenceHub owns or republishes that source. The tools use bounded evidence metadata, source links, supplied facts, and reviewed rule logic rather than wholesale republication of third-party material.
