Direct Hire to Canada: check the route before you submit

For Filipino Professional/Skilled workers hired directly for Canada, the practical problem is not finding one generic checklist. It is making sure the route, destination MWO, documents and sequence line up before DMW evaluation.

Quick route

1 · Confirm routeDirect Hire · Professional/Skilled · Canada jobsite.
2 · Check readinessApply central DMW and the supported MWO branch.
3 · Fix gaps firstResolve MISSING and REVIEW items before submission.

What the current process looks like

DMW Regional Office 2 describes Direct Hire applicants using eRegistration, selecting Direct Hire, uploading complete documentary requirements in POPS-Direct, and waiting for evaluation and Direct Hire Clearance. The exact documentary branch can still vary by worker category, destination and MWO.

Why Canada needs a destination branch

Canada is split between MWO jurisdictions. The checker asks for the Canadian province or territory first so it can avoid applying Vancouver-specific conditions to a Toronto-jurisdiction case.

What this checker does

It gives a fail-closed pre-submission readiness result: missing, review, not applicable, or ready against the checked requirements. It does not issue an OEC, Direct Hire Clearance, or government approval.

Scope boundary. This is a pre-submission readiness tool, not DMW/MWO approval, legal advice, Direct Hire Clearance, or OEC issuance. When current official sources conflict or do not verify a requirement, the checker returns REVIEW rather than guessing.
